Timber
Greif owns and manages approximately 270,000 acres of timber properties in the southeastern United States. The timber is actively harvested and regenerated. Customers are in the lumber, chip/saw and pulpwood markets. The company also owns approximately 36,700 acres in Canada. We also sell timberland and special use land, which consists of surplus land, property classified for higher and better use , and land for development purposes.
