Land management
Greif owns and manages approximately 268,000 acres of land in the United States specifically in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
We use intensive regeneration techniques to keep an ongoing supply of timber and to protect the land from erosion. We are active in the conservation of our property. We are certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative Program of SFI, Inc., which integrates forestry management with conservation of soil, air, water quality, and wildlife.
