Sunem Segura, Customer Service Coordinator from Cuernavaca, Mexico, consistently delivers exceptional customer service by ensuring all of her customers’ needs are met with full, on-time deliveries. She efficiently manages the production schedules for both the Cuernavaca and Monterrey plants, which are key North America Steel production facilities.
Sunem often reaches out proactively to customers about future needs or schedule changes. Her collaborative approach was highlighted in the 2024 NPS survey for Mexico, where Tom Miller, Director of Global Key Accounts and Sales, praised her contribution to the unit’s high NPS score of 89. “Sunem significantly contributed to this score. She does a great job for our team and our Greif customers,” Miller noted.
With a decade of experience at Greif, Sunem has progressed from a Sales Assistant intern to her current role as a Customer Service Coordinator. She credits her growth towards acquiring a strong knowledge of the company’s products and solutions, as well as strengthening her organizational and communication skills.
Javier Aguilar, Sunem’s direct Sales Manager, highlights her role in managing top customers. “She always calls them to help manage inventory and ensure there is enough product to avoid production line stoppages.”

She acknowledges the challenges of scheduling and managing customer requests, especially when differences arise. However, the most rewarding part of her role is satisfying customer needs and building strong relationships, regardless of cultural or personal differences.
