On July 2nd, the city of San José, Costa Rica, hosted one of the most important events in the food packaging industry: Food Pack Summit 2025. Greif proudly participated, celebrating its regional leadership, strong commitment to safe and sustainable solutions, and reinforcing valuable connections with customers and strategic partners.
With manufacturing plants located in Costa Rica, Guatemala, and Colombia, and a well-established presence throughout the region, Greif’s participation went far beyond institutional—it was a unique opportunity to show the market why we are a global reference in industrial packaging. Our booth welcomed visitors from various countries and industries, in an environment that encouraged knowledge exchange, innovation, and new business opportunities.
During the event, we presented a comprehensive portfolio tailored to the most demanding needs of the food sector. Key highlights included our fûts en acier, KDD steel drums for logistics optimization, UN-certified jerrycans—lightweight yet highly durable—and our high-performance closing systems. This line includes screwcaps, tab-seal caps, and metal closing rings, designed to ensure safety, reliable sealing, and compliance with international regulatory standards.
