At Greif, we know that sustainability progress depends on clear data, credible insights, and partners who help you make confident decisions. For more than a decade, the Greif Green Tool has helped you understand the environmental impact of your packaging choices and explore opportunities to reduce your carbon footprint. It has become one of the most trusted resources in our portfolio because it provides clarity in a space that often feels complex.
As more companies set science-based targets and strengthen their ESG reporting, the demand for high-quality environmental analysis has grown quickly. To continue delivering the accuracy, detail, and reliability our customers expect, Greif has just introduced an updated pricing model that reflects the enhanced capabilities of the Greif Green Tool.
Why the Greif Green Tool is Evolving
The Greif Green Tool analysis is now more robust than ever. Each report involves detailed life cycle modeling, expert interpretation, and data that aligns with internationally recognized Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) standards. The insights generated play an important role in regulatory reporting, customer decarbonization efforts, customer scorecards, internal sustainability planning, and decision making.
Greif can provide you with the level of Green Tool analysis that aligns with your needs. For those who seek quick, high-quality environmental data, you can continue to access our complimentary Green Tool resources. For advanced or deeper insights, we offer a range of expert-led analyses tailored to your products, goals, and reporting requirements. This enhanced approach enables us to deliver the depth of analysis, expert support, and trusted insights required for more informed sustainability decision-making.
Currently aligned to ISO 14040/14044 standards, Greif is also working to align our LCA with additional frameworks including ISO 14067, and Together for Sustainability Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) guidelines. The Green Tool will then be updated to align with our revised LCA. These enhancements are expected to be completed by the end of 2026 and will further strengthen the credibility and comparability of Green Tool insights.
