Tubes and Cores

Greif is a leading recycler in North America, and these 100% Recycled Paperboard convolute and spiral tubes and cores are a big part of that. They can be used for tube, can, and core manufacturing.

Greif offers many grades of tubes, as well as tubes for specialty applications. All paper packaging at Greif follows a robust circular economy supply chain, often resulting in a reclaimed old corrugated container becoming something brand new.

In addition to standard tubes, Greif also offers a variety of specialty tubes for specific industries and products. No matter the grade or type of corrugated tube, Greif is committed to following a circular economy model in their packaging production. This means that they prioritize the use of recycled materials and ensure that all packaging can be reused, recycled, or repurposed at the end of its life cycle.

This commitment to sustainability and responsible packaging practices sets Greif apart from other packaging companies and showcases their dedication to making a positive impact on the environment. By offering a range of grades and specialty tubes, Greif is able to meet the diverse needs of their customers while also promoting a more sustainable approach to packaging.

Made with 100% Recycled Paperboard

Greif is a leading recycler in North America, where our paper business is a net positive recycler.

We are serious about sustainability and focused on reducing the environmental impact of our products. The circular economy process flow starts with collecting fiber from used Greif products and other sources and ends with producing 100% recycled paperboard products. Our recycling facilities compile and sort recovered fiber material, bale it, and deliver it to Greif paper mills.

Collected fiber gets broken down through a repulping process. Once the fibers are separated and free of contaminants, recycled paperboard results after a milling process. We use our paperboard to make tubes and cores of various diameters. These tubes and cores end up in many applications, including paper manufacturing, yarns, textiles, and carpet manufacturing.

FSC®, SFI®, and PEFC Certifications ensure that products come from responsibly managed forests that produce environmental, social, and economic benefits. Greif customers can purchase coated recycled corrugated board with confidence.
