Circular economy: Sustainable IBC Pallets

Sustainable Plastic Pallets for IBCs in the USA: A Step Towards a Circular Economy

To further strengthen our sustainability efforts, Greif has increased plastic pallet availability for Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBCs) within the United States. Made from 100% recycled materials, Greif plastic pallets promote a closed- loop system, utilizing our vast reconditioning network to collect, recycle, and reuse used plastic products for the creation of resourceful plastic products.

Greif’s investment in plastic pallets for IBCs aligns with our 2030 Sustainability Goals, aiming to achieve an average of 60% recycled raw material content across our products, supporting a circular economy and reducing environmental impact.

So, what makes our plastic pallets beneficial to you? Let’s explore:

  1. Sustainability | Our plastic pallets, made from 100% recycled plastic, significantly reduces the carbon footprint, diverting plastic waste from landfills and living it new life.
  2. Durability and Reliability | Designed to withstand the most demanding conditions, they offer long-lasting performance. These pallets are resistant to impact, moisture, and UV radiation, and its chemical resilience makes them inert to corrosive products.
  3. Compatibility and Safety | Greif plastic pallets are fully compatible with standard equipment and are well-suited for automatic warehouses. With optimized forklift handling and enhanced surface grip, they ensure improved safety during transportation and storage.
  4. Compliance and Certification | As a complete IBC, Greif plastic pallets are certified for durability and meet stringent cleanliness standards, making them suitable for industries like food and pharmaceuticals. They are also UN-approved for specific IBC sizes, ensuring compliance with regulations.
