Mason, Michigan Holds Forklift Rodeo Safety Event

On August 15, 2024, Greif Mason, Michigan held its annual Forklift Rodeo, an event that gathered colleagues from all three work shifts for a fun and competitive challenge. This year’s rodeo was not only a great success but also an important part of Mason’s commitment to ensuring all employees were forklift-certified.

The competitive nature of the rodeo helps enhance skills and promote safety, contributing to our goal of forklift certification. Mason’s Safety Coordinator, Jamie Sleight, served as the instructor and led the crew through the valuable experience.

In the end, trophies were awarded in two classes: Novice and Expert. Each of these outstanding individuals received trophies for their impressive skills and performance. It was a fantastic event that highlighted the talent and dedication of our team while reinforcing our commitment to safety and certification.
